U.F.O.s and Extra-terrestrials: The Other

The Other still looms large in our contemporary culture. The quintessential Other in the modern world has been the alien from another planet - the extra-terrestrial. Flying around in UFOs, seen and yet not seen at the same time. Stories of kidnappings, intrusive body searches and weird experiments abound; representing our deepest fears of what the Other might do to us. But aren't we all Other to someone else?
